가치를같이읽다

Yana Lucila Lema Otavalo (1974) is a Kichwa and Spanish bilingual (Otavalo, Ecuador) poet, storyteller, videographer, translator, cultural promoter, and community journalist and commentator (comunicadora social). 
In her poetry cosmos, an attempt to make a harmony between Andes’ traditional mythological and poetic language and the modern, urban, and day-life language of Kitswanese, living in a city is illustrated. 
She has been recognized with a number of national and international awards for her work, including Tamyawan Shamukupani(Living with the rain, 2019), and Kampa Shimita Yarkachini (Tengo hambre de tu boca, 2021) which is awarded by Jorge Carrera Andrade Prize in 2021. She is currently focusing on her action for the continental solidarity of indigenous peoples, traveling through Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Bolivia.
키츠와어(kichwa) : 남미에서 가장 많은 선주민이 사용하는 언어인 케추아어(quechua)의 한 갈래로 주로 에콰도르에서 사용된다. 키츠와어 문자가 따로 있는 것은 아니고 스페인어 알파벳을 사용한다. 그래서 시인은 키츠와어를 말할 줄 알았지만 쓰기와 읽기 못했다. 선조들의 구전 기억에 남았고, 귀로 그 언어를 거의 온전히 배웠다. 알파벳 단어, 문어, 책은 지배 언어인 스페인어를 읽고 쓸 줄 아는 사람들만을 위한 특권적 영토였다.
